Here are some comments from some of our members.

I have been going to Barry Hobbs occasionally for atlas/axis adjustments/ the usual  meds for fibro Vic, Ultram, Lido patches on neck to sleep. use of a Jacuzzi at night or for flare times. I have recently tried Flexiril and it has helped both with the muscles and the seritonin. Will try wellibutrin again in much lower doss to see if the dopamine will help- seem to be chem. sensitive to the heavy seritonin meds-and many others. Will look for a good Japanese acupuncturist state side-smaller needles- believe the opiates issue. Trying to get out more than last winter even with how badly winter affects me- we intend to migrate south for winters in the future if money allows. Fighting depression at time is definitely a problem because of the brain chemicals and central nervous system not working properly-plus you add in the chronic pain.
The bucket filler article really hit the point.
Definitely think men have fibro more than reported-but they take pain killers and drink for relief.

Hi Ruthann and Lucy,

To all who are reading this site -- strange as it may sound, I have had fibro for many years and did not know anything about the illness.  Many things that happened in my past were a part of the fibro.  Bits and pieces and things were very strange but, as of right now, I am getting a better understanding of my systems.

I understand feel better when I hear others tell me thay have similar simptions.  When I am  tired or ache all over -- how the weather makes you feel.......this all plays an important part of this all.

The Fibro meeting have greatly help me and I certainly hope this will continue.  We need this outlet.  I also feel that the speakers are usually beneficial.  My foot doctor knows and understands about fibro.......would you like me to ask him to speak to us or give you his name and you can do the calling.

Thanks for being there for us.
